Real Conservera Española continues a family saga of more than 100 years dedicated to canning seafood and fish. Its owners share a dream: Reposition Galician preserves where we believe they should be, at the level of large gourmet bites. We feel a deep passion for the profession, for the people of the sea, for our estuaries, for our environment and for our tradition. That is why we continue to do things in the traditional way as they have been taught to us generation after generation.

Real Conservera Española assumes a permanent commitment to product quality. All Real Conservera Española products contain fish and seafood exclusively from the Galician Rías, whether from the Atlantic Ocean or the Cantabrian Sea. Using only the best vegetables, captured in the field when they are in their best season and at the optimal point for their manufacture.

He Canning is done by hand , taking care of the sizes and manual placement of each piece in the can. Maintaining already forgotten processes such as the roasting of some fish and using only top quality ingredients from the local market for our preparations, which are cooked at home by expert hands.

Securing the commitment to sustainability and environmental care . Commitment that begins in the sea, we nourish ourselves from the sea and we are champions of sustainable fishing and less invasive fishing gear, defending and demanding compliance with closed seasons and catch limits to guarantee the future of the marine biodiversity of the Rias. We also continue with our sustainable commitment plan , with objectives of reducing water and energy consumption and transformation to renewable energy, as well as reuse of waste and use of recyclable material.

At Real Conservera, success lies in the people, our team. The passion for things well done is the work methodology of each member of our company who, in the historic Villa de Cambados, enters the plant every day to take care of their product and their brand. And it is not an easy job, because they do goldsmithing with their hands , gutting manually, packaging the pieces one by one and cooking the recipes for toppings or sauces with all the precision and love. They are our “mothers of the sea”, because this is a women's business, more than 90% of the team are women, from the shellfish harvesters who provide us with the jewels of the sea, to the General Management, or the leaders of finance, logistics or production, they rule... a lot.
